A parent-child class that is a bridge to a child's first school experience
Have you ever marveled at how your toddler is absorbing information and learning almost effortlessly? Have you wondered why your toddler has such a strong desire for order as their entire morning can be upended by not having their favorite orange spoon for their breakfast? Have you ever struggled with wanting to get out the door but your toddler has decided that this is the day that they will be putting on their own shoes even if unsuccessful for over 10 minutes? These are all the complex and wonderful elements of toddlers as they enter the sensitive period for order, concentration, and craving independence.
For the school year of 2019/20, we will be offering a wBees Bridge Class, a parent-child toddler class, for an intimate group of just 8-10 families. Parents will be working alongside or observing their child move through a Montessori-work cycle and participating in a sing-along circle time led by Teacher Diana, a professional children's singer who has trained with Laurie Berkner in the past.
